"Email is more important to business than the telephone" Or at least it is according to research conducted during 2003 by META Group. This revealed that email is viewed by 80% of businesses as more important than the telephone and, further, 74% of businesses would see it as a bigger hardship to be without email for 5 days than the telephone.
